Lamination technology emerges in China market several years ago.

And with its advantage on cost, good mechanical and chemical performance, special and unique laser effect, it wins more and more market share during competition with traditional printing&lacquering.

Currently, there are 2 kinds of lamiantion technology: lamiantion with glue, and hot-melting lamination.

Lamiantion with glue is more mature, and there are more than 200 glue lamination lines spread over china market.

This kind of lamiantion mianly used on steel to making paint can, chemical can (non food).

The PET film can be laminated onto surface of black plate directly for making can ends (no requirement of welding line), and it obviously saves cost for lids factories. And the lamiantion has very food rusty-resistance, good anti-scratches performance.

The glue lamiantion PET film can also have 3D laser effect, which is very special and unique, and can't be realized with traditional printing.

The 3D laser effect has very good anti-fake functions, also brings added value for brands with its sepcial and attractive apperance.

The other kind of lamiantion is hot-melting, this technolgoy comes from Japan.

It is mainly used for food cans.

In china, the supply for hot-melting lamiantion is still limited, not as many as lamination with GLUE.
